Earl Nightingale wrote the following piece on attitude and self image. Speaking for myself, it is so, so true.
Now, right here, we come to a rather strange fact. We tend to minimize the things we can do, the goals we can reach, and yet, for some strange reason, we think that others can do things that we can not. I want you to know that this is not true. You do have deep reservoirs of talent and ability within you and you can have the things you want.
Like Bob Proctor, who brought this to my attention in You Were Born Rich, I must have heard this a dozen or more times, listening to Lead the Field and The Strangest Secret, but I never really understood what he meant.
What Nightingale means is that if they can do it, so can I, if I am willing to pay the price.
What price are you willing to pay?
