The Power of Focus

At the start of the year, I wrote down my three words for 2013: audacious, lid and focus

I have been thinking about focus recently. If you let your focus slip, it is a bit like letting someone else drive your car – you are not in control and the driver’s destination (goal) might well be different from yours!

Focus is all about staying on track and keeping your goal in mind. Focus can give you clarity and power. It provides you with boundaries and direction. Giving into procrastination is a lack of focus. The areas that we do not focus on are more likely to get poor outcomes.

What are you focused on right now?

How many goals are you focused on? If you have more than a handful, then you are probably not focused on any. Break it down to your 2 to 5 most valuable priorities and focus on them each and every day.
